Why We Built This

We lived the
problem first.

Maxpilot started inside the care sector, not a boardroom. Our founders spent years working with NDIS providers, watching skilled support workers spend half their day on spreadsheets, paper forms, and disconnected systems.

The existing tools were either too complex, not built for NDIS, or priced for enterprise. So we built something that wasn't — a platform designed from day one for how Australian care organisations actually operate.

Today, Maxpilot powers hundreds of NDIS providers, support coordinators, and allied health practices across every state and territory.

2019
The problem identified

Founders working inside NDIS organisations saw the admin burden firsthand — spreadsheets, disconnected tools, hours lost every week.

2020
First version launched

A purpose-built MVP for small NDIS providers. Scheduling, participant profiles, and basic shift tracking.

2021
Compliance & billing added

Invoicing, NDIS price catalogue, compliance checklists, and digital forms joined the platform after user feedback.

2023
500 organisations onboarded

Maxpilot reached 500 active organisations and launched dedicated support for allied health and aged care.

2024
Enterprise tier launched

Multi-location management, custom integrations, and a dedicated onboarding team for large providers.
